FINAL FLAG DUTY – A3K12

Written by: Lê Nhã Bình

Dear esteemed teachers and beloved fellow students,

From the very first days—when we were still timidly searching for our classroom, shy before the new name tag—to this very moment as we prepare to leave, it all feels as if it happened just yesterday.

We still vividly remember the laughter-filled lessons, the times we had to run hurriedly after being caught by Mr. Tuấn for minor violations, or when we tried to hide behind the parking lot after arriving late—only to end up signing the tardy sheet anyway. We remember the days we chatted too much and were given an extra period by Mr. Trạng, the evenings we stayed late rehearsing for performances yet were still full of laughter, and especially those proud moments when we shouted “A3K12” together after winning prizes in school activities. And there are countless other fragments of memory—each one small, yet together forming the vibrant mosaic of our youthful years.

Those seemingly ordinary moments have painted a radiant picture of youth that we will carry with us throughout our journey of growth. Three years—perhaps not long, but long enough for us to mature from clumsy students into confident young adults who have learned to cherish those who guided us through every step of the way. These three years have been filled with lessons, advice, and even gentle reprimands from our teachers. Every word, every glance, every smile from you—our teachers—has become a cherished part of our high school memories.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the school administration and to all our teachers—not only for imparting knowledge but also for sharing with us your love, patience, and faith, helping us move forward with confidence. From you, we have learned that knowledge is the luggage for life’s journey, while the bond between teachers and students is the light that guides us along the path of growth.

At the same time, we would also like to send our heartfelt thanks to the security guards, janitors, and administrative staff—those who quietly remain after school hours to keep our campus clean, safe, and full of warmth.

In this journey, there are two people whom our class has always regarded as “guiding lights,” “second fathers,” and “elder brothers”—those who have walked beside us, listened, and understood us through these unforgettable three years. They are our beloved homeroom teachers, Mr. Quan Văn Út and Mr. Lưu Trọng Huỳnh. To express our sincerest gratitude, the A3K12 class would like to present to our two teachers a small gift as a token of our appreciation. We kindly invite both teachers to come to the stage.

A thousand sunny days at Thực hành—a thousand mornings when sunlight filtered through the trees, filling the schoolyard with laughter; a thousand afternoons that lingered with the echo of unfinished lessons; a thousand rays of sunshine representing our youth—innocent, radiant, and utterly sincere. Those thousand days, every single beam of light carried the presence of our friends, our teachers, and even the quiet affections we could never forget.

A thousand sunny days at Thực hành—it may sound like just a number, but to us, it represents an entire sky of youth, a journey now nearing its end. There were days bright with laughter, and days when the sunshine seemed silent, mingled with tears of farewell. Yet, no matter the day, Thực hành will forever remain the place that holds our purest memories—the place where we lived fully, loved deeply, and grew stronger amidst countless silent acts of care.

Thank you, Thực hành, for giving us a thousand days to be ourselves.

Thank you, teachers, for your guidance, understanding, and outstretched hands whenever we stumbled.
Thank you, friends, for walking with us through the most beautiful days of our youth.

And now, as the morning sunlight once again bathes our beloved schoolyard, we just want to shout out loud:

Can Tho University Elite High School is our home as well as a palce of youth and springtime!
