EXCHANGE PROGRAM WITH SOC TRANG THSP SCHOOL

The exchange program “A Day as a THSPer and STEM Experience” was organized by Can Tho University Elite High School (THSP) to welcome the delegation of administrators, teachers, and students from Soc Trang THSP School.

The primary objective of the program was to provide students from Soc Trang THSP School with the opportunity to experience firsthand the learning environment and student life at Can Tho University Elite High School (THSPer). At the same time, the program aimed to introduce the school’s image and its friendly, dynamic, and modern educational environment, thereby inspiring capable and passionate students to consider applying for admission.

Furthermore, the program sought to foster students’ interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), helping them gain a deeper understanding of the practical applications of STEM knowledge while developing essential soft skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and creative thinking. Importantly, the program also contributed to enhancing students’ awareness of STEM education and career orientation, assisting them in making informed academic and professional choices for the future.

The program took place from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., featuring a variety of engaging activities. It began with an introductory session about Can Tho University Elite High School held in the assembly hall, followed by a tour of the STEM LAB and other specialized classrooms. Subsequently, students participated in hands-on activities such as designing STEM models and products, solving academic challenges, attending trial lessons in Mathematics, Literature, or English, and joining club activities with THSPer students. The program concluded with a showcase of student projects, musical and sports exchanges, and commemorative photo sessions.

The exchange created a lively, open, and friendly atmosphere between students of the two schools, strengthening collaborative relations and promoting positive academic orientation for students from Soc Trang THSP School in their high school learning environment.
