Can Tho University Elite High School Students Participate in the 2026 International Summer Camp at Chihlee University of Technology (Taiwan)
With the aim of providing students with opportunities to experience an international learning environment, enhance their foreign language proficiency, and broaden their understanding of global cultures, Can Tho University Elite High School organized a two-week study tour for its students to participate in the 2026 International Summer Camp at Chihlee University of Technology, Taiwan, during the summer of 2026.

This marked the third consecutive year that students from Can Tho University Elite High School have participated in the summer camp in Taiwan. The program offered a wide range of academic and cultural activities in an international environment. At Chihlee University of Technology, students joined language exchange classes, studied Mandarin Chinese, learned about Taiwan's education system, and studied and interacted with students from various countries. In addition, sports activities, teamwork projects, and cultural exchange programs enabled the students to build confidence in communication, strengthen their collaborative skills, and develop friendships with peers from around the world.

Beyond classroom learning, the program also introduced students to the rich culture and daily life of Taiwan through visits to many well-known attractions, including Taipei 101, Yehliu Geopark, Tamsui Old Street, and traditional night markets. Students also participated in a variety of hands-on cultural activities such as Chinese calligraphy, traditional arts, and local cultural experiences. Throughout the program, they stayed in the student dormitories at Chihlee University of Technology, allowing them to experience the daily life of international university students firsthand.

The summer camp provided students with meaningful and memorable experiences. In addition to improving their English and Mandarin communication skills, they developed greater independence, adaptability, and confidence in unfamiliar environments. More importantly, they gained valuable insights into a modern education system, broadened their global perspectives, and became better prepared for their future academic and career aspirations.
The program also received significant support from the Taiwanese Government, which subsidized 50% of the program expenses, while the remaining costs were covered by the participating students. This financial support enabled more students to take part in a high-quality international exchange program at an affordable cost.

Following the completion of the program, many students and parents expressed their appreciation for the valuable experiences it provided. They highly praised the summer camp for helping students become more mature, self-confident, and motivated in their studies. Beyond offering firsthand exposure to an advanced education system, the program also inspired students to pursue overseas study opportunities and strengthened their aspirations for global engagement.
Looking ahead, Can Tho University Elite High School will continue to expand its international partnerships and develop more exchange and collaborative programs with universities and educational institutions around the world. Through these initiatives, the school aims to provide students with even more opportunities to learn, explore, and develop comprehensively in an increasingly globalized educational environment.
