FLAG CEREMONY DUTY
And just like that, a whole month of tireless practice has come to an end.
A month of standing under the afternoon sun, of taking the same steps over and over again on the practice field, of sweat soaking through our shirts, and of moments when we were so exhausted that we wanted to give up—yet still encouraged one another to keep going just a little longer.
And in the end, all those days of hard work were rewarded with a truly memorable and fulfilling flag ceremony duty by A2K13.
Perhaps, one day, we will no longer remember how many times we practiced, how many movements we got wrong, or how many times we burst out laughing over some silly little mistake. But we will remember how it felt to stand together on this school field—the place where our youth once unfolded.

This was not just another flag ceremony duty.
This was A2K13's final flag ceremony duty of our school years.
Maybe today, we still cannot fully understand what the word “final” really means. We are still standing beside one another. We still call each other by the familiar names we have known for so long. We still have a classroom to return to, and we still walk through the school gates together on ordinary mornings.
But one day, this school field will still be here.
The trees will still be here.
The school bell will still ring…
Only A2K13 will no longer be standing here together.

The imperfections of that day will no longer matter. An uneven step, a movement that was not quite perfect, an awkward little moment… all of them will eventually become precious pieces of our youth.
Because youth was never meant to be perfect.
Youth simply needs us to have been there for one another, to have tried our best together, and to have shared a beautiful chapter worth remembering.
Ten years from now, twenty years from now, or even thirty years from now…
Perhaps we will no longer remember exactly how those days began. Perhaps each of us will follow a different path, have a different career, a different life, new friends, and new stories to tell.
But perhaps, fifty years from now, on a golden afternoon, when our hair has turned gray and our hands tremble slightly as we turn through old photographs, we will suddenly come across a picture of A2K13.

And then, the memories will come rushing back.
We will remember the days we practiced together.
We will remember the laughter on the field.
We will remember the moments when we were exhausted but still kept going.
We will remember the friends who once sat beside us.
We will remember how young we once were.
And perhaps, what will make us smile the most is not how well we performed that day, but the fact that we once had one another during such a beautiful chapter of our youth.
Thank you, A2K13, for walking through this month of practice together.
Thank you for the sweat, the laughter, the effort, and even the imperfections.

This flag ceremony duty will come to an end today.
But the youth of A2K13 will remain.
It will remain in our old photographs.
It will remain in the stories we tell one another many years from now.
And it will remain in a beautiful corner of each of our hearts - the place where A2K13 once grew up together.
Goodbye to one final flag ceremony duty.
Goodbye to a part of our school years.
And thank you for letting us be A2K13. ❤️
