B2K13 – THE FINAL FLAG CEREMONY

A RENDEZVOUS WITH YOUTH: B2K13’S LASTING MEMORIES AT CTU-EHS

Some chapters of life seem to last forever, yet when we look back, we realize just how quickly our youth has passed. For Class 12B2 – B2K13, this morning’s flag ceremony marked a truly special milestone: the last time we stood on the flag ceremony stage at our beloved Can Tho University Elite High School (CTU-EHS).

The program opened with warm greetings from Thanh Tung, the champion of Nguoi Nhan Tai Season 7 and the school’s representative at the 26th season of Road to Mount Olympia, alongside Thanh Ngoc, President of the Say Hi CTU-EHS English Club. Together, they extended their respectful greetings to the school leadership, teachers, and all students in attendance.

More than 1,000 days at CTU-EHS had passed in what felt like the blink of an eye. It seemed like only yesterday that B2 eagerly looked forward to Monday mornings, wondering what performances the senior students would bring to the stage. And now, the time had come for B2K13 to take its turn and host its very last flag ceremony.

A Mischievous B2, A Proud B2

Since this was our final flag ceremony, B2 was determined to make it truly reflect who we are! When teachers—and even Mr. Thanh, our school security guard—think of B2, they probably remember one of the most mischievous and playful classes at CTU-EHS. We are the “sweet, innocent little children” of Mr. Nguyen Van Kham, the trusted juniors of Ms. Phuong, and, at the same time, the “prime suspects” behind mysterious cases of missing shoes, sandals, and schoolbags that have left Mr. Trung, Ms. Thuy, and many others scratching their heads.

Yet beyond these unforgettable “achievements,” B2K13 has plenty of accomplishments to be proud of. Guided by our signature slogan, “If B2 doesn’t take first place, then who will?”, we have enthusiastically participated in school performances for Tet, March 26 celebrations, Halloween events, academic competitions, and sports tournaments. Wherever there is an activity, B2 is there; wherever enthusiasm is needed, our members are always ready to give it their all.

Behind every award lies teamwork, and behind every performance are countless hours of practice. B2 may be mischievous and playful, but we always know how to come together and create something uniquely our own.

A Heartfelt Tribute to Our Teachers

The confident, dynamic, and energetic B2 we see today would not be possible without the dedication, patience, and understanding of our teachers. Although our mischievous behavior has sometimes given them a headache, they have always known when to be strict, when to offer encouragement, and how to show us their wholehearted care and affection.

During our final flag ceremony, Class 12B2 presented small gifts to the school leadership and teachers as a heartfelt expression of gratitude. Though modest, these gifts carried the sincere appreciation of the entire class for those who have supported, guided, and accompanied us throughout our school years.

The song “Có Hẹn Với Thanh Xuân” (A Rendezvous with Youth), performed by Bao Anh, Nam Phuong, and Quoc Huy, brought moments of reflection and emotion to the program. After all, some farewells are not really endings; they are opportunities for us to carry beautiful memories forward as we continue along our own paths.

To K14 and K15 – Make the Most of Your Youth!

To our juniors in K14 and K15, B2K13 has one heartfelt message: cherish every day at CTU-EHS, because high school may seem like a long journey, but it passes far more quickly than we imagine.

B2 has experienced a whole spectrum of emotions, from the uncertainty of our early days and the challenges we overcame together to the joyful and difficult moments that have now become precious memories. Through a medley of “Có Em Chờ” (Waiting for You) and “Mặt Trời Của Em” (My Sunshine), performed by Chau Thu and Mai Phuong, B2 hopes to pass the torch of enthusiasm to the next generations, so that CTU-EHS will always remain a home for friendship, dreams, and youthful memories.

Keep writing beautiful stories, creating your own unique milestones, and making your youth under CTU-EHS’s roof as bright and unforgettable as possible!

The Final Group Dance – One B2, One Youth!

How could a flag ceremony worthy of B2 be complete without a large-scale group dance, energetic moves, and the wholehearted spirit of the entire class? To close the program, B2K13 presented its final group dance as a special farewell to our teachers and fellow students at CTU-EHS.

The resounding applause, enthusiastic cheers, and warm support made the moment truly unforgettable. It was more than just a performance; it was the culmination of countless rehearsals, shared laughter, and the strong bond we had built during our final days together.

Eventually, the final flag ceremony came to an end, but the beautiful memories will remain. In the years ahead, each of us will follow a different path, yet we will always remember those Monday mornings in the school courtyard, the rehearsals we shared, and a youth filled with laughter.

B2K13 – Thank you for creating a youth that was wonderfully chaotic, brilliantly vibrant, and truly unforgettable!

Thank you to our teachers for walking alongside us. Thank you to CTU-EHS for being our second home. And thank you to every member of B2 for helping make our class one of a kind.

Our final flag ceremony is not a farewell to our memories. B2K13 – A time to remember, a lifetime to cherish!
