Welcome teachers and students of An Khanh Junior high school (Ninh Kieu) to Can Tho University Elite high school

On February 27, 2025, Can Tho University Elite High School organized a meaningful exchange program with the participation of teachers and students from An Khanh Junior high school, Can Tho City. The program, themed "A Day as a THSP-er and Experiencing STEM," aimed to provide students with an opportunity to explore the learning environment at THSP while enhancing their awareness of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
Associate Professor Dr. Tran Van Minh, Principal of Can Tho University Elite High School, delivered a welcome speech to the students.
The event welcomed more than 20 teachers and 70 students from An Khanh Junior high school, with the goal of helping them learn about Elite high school’s facilities and inspiring their passion for science subjects. The program also sought to help students better understand the practical applications of STEM knowledge while developing soft skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and creative thinking.
Exciting activities during the program:
- Introduction to Elite high school and a tour of the STEM LAB: Students had the opportunity to explore the school’s modern facilities, especially the STEM LAB, where innovative learning activities take place.
- Hands-on experience and presentations: At the end of the program, students showcased the products they had created, participated in musical and sports exchanges, and enjoyed a lively and engaging atmosphere that fostered connections between students from both schools.
Through this program, Elite high school not only aimed to encourage students to develop creative thinking but also reaffirmed its commitment to promoting STEM education. The school hopes that this model will be expanded, allowing students more opportunities to engage with and develop competencies in science and technology.
