On the morning of October 21, 2025, at Can Tho University Elite High School (under Can Tho University), a presentation on Canadian education took place. The session was conducted by Mr. Kristine Khan, International Program Coordinator, representing The University of Winnipeg Collegiate.
Mr. Khan’s presentation, representing The University of Winnipeg Collegiate, focused on educational pathways in Canada, particularly designed for international students.
The Collegiate is a university-preparatory high school located on the campus of The University of Winnipeg (UWinnipeg). Students thrive in an environment that combines the independence and flexibility of university-level learning with the personalized support of a close-knit academic community. The presentation highlighted unique advantages such as access to all UWinnipeg campus facilities and a seamless transition pathway into UWinnipeg’s undergraduate degree programs.
The program offers dual-credit university courses and maintains small class sizes, typically ranging from 14 to 25 students. International students also have the opportunity to receive entrance scholarships of up to CAD $29,000 and to be considered for scholarships at other Canadian universities.
Regarding academic pathways, the Collegiate offers a Regular High School Program lasting one to four years, designed for students from Grades 9 to 12. For those who have completed Grade 12 but do not yet meet university entrance requirements, the school provides a University Foundation Program, lasting 8 to 10 months. Current intakes are open for May 2026 and September 2026.
