HONORING FORMER STUDENTS OF THUC HANH SU PHAM HIGH SCHOOL WHO WON SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AWARDS AND SPECIALIZED PRIZES

The annual conference on scientific research among students of Can Tho University always receives the attention of many students from all faculties in the university. This conference aims to encourage students to participate in scientific research, promote their talents and creative thinking, form self-study capacity, apply learned knowledge to solve practical problems, and contribute to improve the level of scientific research for individuals and groups of students. At the same time, the school also selected high-winning topics to participate in the national student scientific research award.

Especially this year, there are 02 former students of Thuc hanh Su pham High School winning prizes.

Tieu Ngoc Tuoi (former student of class A2K4), majoring in Informatics Teacher Education, Course 44, Faculty of Education, with the topic: "Building Open Educational Resources (OER) for students of Informatics Teacher Education” by Dr. Bui Le Instructor Diem excellently won the Third prize. 

Huynh Tuyet Ngan (Former student of class A1K5), majoring in Mathematics Teacher Education, Course 45, Faculty of Education, excellently won 2 prizes (along with the research team). Both these topics are guided by MSc. Bui Anh Tuan, topic: "Research on mobile applications to support learning Math terms in English for teachers and students" Huynh Tuyet Ngan (Former student of class A1K5), majoring in Mathematics Pedagogy, Course 45, Faculty of Education, excellently won 2 prizes (along with the research team). Both these topics are guided by MSc Bui Anh Tuan, topic: "Research on mobile applications to support learning Math terms in English for teachers and students" won the Second prize at the School level and the Third prize at the ministry level in 2021. And the topic: "Artificial Intelligence in Education: A Research in Mathematics in High School" won the first prize at the school level in 2022 and is being submitted to the Ministry level competition.

In addition, there is Nguyen Tran Ngoc My (Former student of class B2K6), majoring in Architecture, Course 20, University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh City (Can Tho Campus). In the National Architecture Students Festival - AYARU Heritage Journey, held at Mien Trung University of Civil Engineering (Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen Province) last April, Ngoc My was the team leader and won the second prize in the category of: “Quick Design A with the theme: Designing an iconic project at the outlet gateway of Tuy Hoa City", her project was named: "Thi Trinh Ayaru". She also won the Model Champion award when she participated in a performance contest at the school's Fashion Club. Ngoc My is also the Vice President of the Fashion Club, Member of the Executive Committee of the Associated Organ of Can Tho Students’ Association and a member of the Organizing Committee of the Young Innovator Seed Camp 2021 in Can Tho City.

As a first-year student, Le Chi Thinh (former student of class B2K7) in Computer Science, Course 16, University of Information Technology (VNU-HCM) has had encouraging achievements, such as: Consolation Prize for Hackathon 2022 of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, Second prize in Minathon 2022 contest of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.

It can be said that these are 4 of the excellent students of Thuc hanh Su pham High School who won high awards during their studies at universities. It is a great source of motivation for future generations of students in scientific research and Union-Society activities.
