Joining students across the country and indulging in the exciting and joyful atmosphere of the new school year, on the morning of September 5th, 2023, The Elite high school - Can Tho University (CTU) solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of the school year 2023 - 2024. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Department of Education and Training of Cần Thơ city; representatives of the Board of Directors of CTU, Youth Union; faculties, departments, departments and centers under CTU. Regarding the High School of The Elite high school, there were the presence of former leaders, the school administrators, the Representative Board of the Student Parents' Association along with the school's teachers, staffs and all of the students.

The Opening Ceremony of the new school year was organized neatly and solemnly by the school in spirit of the Ministry of Education. At the ceremony, Dr. Huỳnh Anh Huy - Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy -  read a congratulatory letter, which was written by President Vo Van Thuong to the education sector on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the school year 2023 - 2024, reminding students to always acknowledge learning as an important task. Subsequently, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trần Văn Minh, Principal of The Elite high school, presented the opening speech, evaluated and recognized the results achieved by collectives & individuals in the previous school year and also announced the opening of a new school year.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trần Trung Tính, Vice Principal of CTU sent his congratulations and wished the High School of Thực hành Sư phạm a lot of success in the upcoming school year. In addition, the Board of Directors of CTU has recognized the solidarity, efforts and striving for the development of the Elite high school. In particular, this year, the Elite high school has officially operated a high-quality high school with financial independence. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trần Trung Tính expressed his desire for the school to summarize the achievements and draw lessons towards building a new project to become an international high school and approach world standards, creating conditions for students to study and practice in this integration period.

The valedictorian of the Elite high school in the school year 2023 - 2024, Nguyen Hong Tue Man, a student of grade 10A1, expressed her thoughts towards the new school year.

Upon the latest enrollment, the Elite high school enrolled 199 students in grade 10. To be admitted to the school, you must have a minimum score of 33.95 points. With an impressive total score of 47.2 points, Nguyễn Hồng Tuệ Mẫn, a student of grade 10A1 was rewarded by the school with the achievement of highest score in the 10th grade entrance exam of the school year 2023 - 2024, the Elite high school

PGS.TS. Trần Trung Tính presented certificates of merit and rewards to Nguyễn Hồng Tuệ Mẫn. In addition, she also received an international exchange trip, in the international exchange plan of the Elite high school, school year 2023 - 2024

Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Bình, Former Principal of The Elite high school, presented certificates of merit to teachers partaking in fostering students in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology in English at the city competition in the last school year.
