WELCOME THE DELEGATIONS OF STUDENTS AND TEACHERS FROM THE UNITED KINGDOM

To carry out the mission of the academic year 2023-2024, on the afternoon of October 26, 2023, the CTU Elite Highschool under Can Tho University had the honor of welcoming 16 students and 03 teachers from England through the connection of the International Cooperation Department, Can Tho University. The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Huynh Thi Thuy Diem (Vice Rector), Mr. Luu Trong Huynh (Secretary of the Youth Union), Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Ven (Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union), Mr. Duong Nguyen Thanh Luan (English Teacher), and some teachers of the school.

At the meeting, students from CTU Elite High School and students from England had a chance to exchange about culture, language, and cuisine of Vietnam as well as culture of England. The exchange activities included: auction game, “Lô Tô”, drawing game. Especially, traditional costumes were performed such as traditional Ao dai, modern Ao dai, Ao Ba Ba, Khmer ethnic costume, H’Mong ethnic costume… which carried the cultural identity of ethnic groups. Here, English students were also instructed to make vegetarian spring rolls. The exchange program was organized by SAY HI English Club. The exchange session was filled with excitement and joy from both sides. At the end of the exchange session, students from England and students from CTU Elite Highschool still lingered and left many unforgettable memories.

With a desire to connect global citizens and help students have opportunities to exchange, learn and get acquainted with the international learning environment, every year CTU Elite High School regularly connects international students and students from universities in America, Canada, Europe and Asia to exchange culture. In recent years, the school has also brought students to cultural exchanges in Thailand and Taiwan. In the future, the school will implement an international high school program to improve knowledge and foreign languages for students, helping the school become the first international high school in Can Tho City and Mekong Delta region.
