Starting November comes along with the most remarkable event proceeding throughout the month – “The Teachers’ Charters Month”. To keep our traditions alive in honoring those who gifted us the power of intellectualism, CTU Elite High School continues to promote educational values through a series of activities in true academic fashion. Not only do these events promote healthy, competitive playgrounds for students but these events also help students to hone their interpersonal skills and keeping in touch with their strengths. Henceforth, having weekly musical performances are excellent examples to showcase these values.

“D2K10 – Another day, another slay”

Starting our week (6/11/2023), the spectacular Class 12D2 (known as D2K10) proudly presented a musical performance full of charisma and uniqueness. In our speech, we strongly believe: “Everyone begins with their youth consisting of pens and papers, and within a story one may compose comes with resplendent reminiscences engraved herein”. To remember this pivotal mark of our journey, D2K10 presented a musical named “Our Youthful Years” –representing as our final school performance and a heartfelt letter within our years studying here at CTU Elite High School.

But first, our class dedicated absolute respect and complete gratitude to all the teachers who had been accompanying us and walked us through these years. As time is ticking means we are seconds away from sending farewells to our beloved school, we want to give our wishes to the teachers to lead on a healthy, eventful, and eventual prosperity in guiding the new generations to the next “destination” of academia.

The next string of performances were our main events. The “warming up” act of our performance included a solo performance by D2K10’s “iconic songstress” Hồ Thị Vân Anh – singing “Bóng Phù Hoa”, inspired by the iconic classical tale of Vietnamese literature “Chuyện người con gái Nam Xương (Nguyễn Dữ)”.

Taking inspirations from the passionate and pure teen romance from our coming-of-age years, Class 12D2’s “the dream team” consisted of our three vocalists Vân Nhi, An Bình, Mai Thảo, and with the support of guitarist Nguyễn Xuân Phúc from Class 12B2 managed to deliver a mashup of “Anh mơ – Suy Nghĩ trong Anh – Đếm Ngày Xa Em – Ngày Xưa Em Đến”.

Ending “Our Youthful Years”, from the typical days studying literature, D2K10 invited everyone to join their one of a kind literature lesson through... A mashup dance performance of “Hạ Phỏm – Đẩy Xe Bò – Vũ Trụ Có Anh”! Despite blood, sweat, and tears, Class 12D2 brought the house down and composed a story of a lifetime.  We went from strangers to having our hearts, souls, and lives intertwined as one – and that, that bond, cannot be replaced. Thank you, to not only one but to everyone of Class 12D2 that came together and made a performance that was one for the books.

Once again, 12D2 wants to give out this message to those who are entering their 18^th birthday that you are deserving everything good under the sun, reaching the stars of your dreams, going to cities you dreamed of, going to the school you wished, and meeting those who inspired you but most importantly, composing the next chapters of your life ahead.
