A normal Monday has no significance whatsoever. This day will come and go, and mark the beginning of another school week. However, this November 13th Monday comes along with a series of activities to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20th. Joining in the vibrant and joyful atmosphere of the event, class 11A1 presented special performances, which were carefully practiced, leaving a distinctive insight, energy, and joy to all teachers & students of the whole school.

The school assembly session opened with a group rendition of the renowned song “Song of the South“. As the most successful composition of the musicians Lu Nhat Vu & Le Giang, the melodious theme in the song representing our mom’s lullabies have highlighted the beauty of the southern land-our beloved homeland. The performance also brought us back to familiar scenery with thatched roofs, peaceful rivers, and the gentle sunlight of the southern landscape.

The sweet melody of the southern region was then followed by the poetic spirit of the northwest region, a place filled with the beauty of the mountains and forests along with catchy and fiery melodies. With that being said, A1K11 is very proud to present a mashup performance full of “wilderness ” and charisma through the catchy tunes of “À Lôi” and “Người miền núi chất”. This monumental performance was the result of the overall unity and effort of many individuals over a 6-day period of time. While they may not be the best version, the performance has successfully caused a stir and transferred the message that we enthusiastic youth would never stop striving to develop our country and preserve Vietnamese national traditions and culture.

The two performances marked the end of the second assembly session organised by A1K11. Although it may not last forever, the memories from this session are indelibly inscribed on our hearts. Treasureing every special moment together, A1K11 would always strive to live up to our “wilderness” and live a life we are proud of. With all respect, we would like to wish all teachers & students an effective and enthusiastic working week.
