FLAG-RAISING PROGRAM OF CLASS D1K12
“Tracing the Stream of Memories”
Written by: D1K12
As the flag-raising performances of the twelfth graders pass one after another, we are reminded that the most beautiful moments of our journey at Can Tho University Elite High School are gradually coming to a close. Each time we stand beneath the flagpole, we silently wish time would slow down—just a little—so we could look at this beloved home a bit longer, express our gratitude to the teachers who have wholeheartedly guided us over the past three years, and share a few more moments of laughter, tears, and growth with our friends. For that reason, the students of Class 12D1 present today’s theme, “Tracing the Stream of Memories” as a heartfelt message of appreciation to all who have made our youth so vibrant.
Along with revisiting our cherished memories, 12D1 hopes to convey a meaningful and uplifting message in this school year filled with important milestones of our nation. We respectfully invite all teachers and students to enjoy the program in full to discover this special message.

Opening the program is a performance by Nhu Y and Quoc An, leading into the song “Phép màu” (“Magic”). Following that, the song “Lần Cuối” (“The Last Time”), accompanied by the performance of Mr. Hoang Nhan, brings a gentle, emotional pause—reminding us of the final days of our student life.
Teachers are often compared to candles—each lesson they teach is a quiet act of burning themselves to light the path for the younger generation. And the “last time” of our school years would never be complete without our deepest gratitude to those who have patiently guided, supported, and embraced us throughout high school. We now invite our teachers and friends to enjoy the song “The Sower of Green Seeds.”

To bring a more cheerful atmosphere, the program continues with “Lucky Draw – Unexpected Gifts!” Each ticket corresponds to a lucky number and a prize—ranging from small and cute to… slightly “bigger than expected.” The logistics team will distribute candies, snacks, and gifts in three groups, ensuring fairness, joy, and excitement across the schoolyard.
After the lucky draw, we invite everyone to turn toward the back of the stage for a special performance titled “Proudly Vietnamese.” Here, An opens the segment with a playful “time-travel” scenario: as the modern music suddenly stops, he finds himself transported into the world of Vietnamese folk music—where he discovers the depth, beauty, and uniqueness of the cultural values that today’s younger generation must cherish and preserve.
Through today’s flag-raising program, 12D1 would first like to thank our friends—those who have walked with us through the joys, sorrows, and efforts of our three youthful years.

Above all, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to our teachers as Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20) approaches. Thank you for your patience from our earliest, most uncertain days; for guiding us through every lesson; and for becoming our second parents during the most important stage of our school life.
Lastly, we express our gratitude to our families and to the generations who came before us—those who built the foundation that allows us to learn, grow, and carry on the tradition. Through the surprising “time-travel” performance, Class 12D1 hopes to convey this message to all THSPers:
“Cherish, preserve, and promote the cultural traditions of our nation.”

With that, the flag-raising performance of Class D1K12 comes to a close. We sincerely thank the School Board, all teachers, and all students for your attention. We wish our teachers good health and a productive week ahead. We also wish our fellow students joyful days and successful studies.
And one last time… at THSP, we are D1K12!
