CAN THO UNIVERSITY ELITE HIGH SCHOOL ORGANIZES A NATIONAL DEFENSE AND SECURITY EDUCATION STUDY TRIP FOR SEMESTER II, ACADEMIC YEAR 2025–2026

In accordance with the 2025–2026 academic plan and the 2018 General Education Curriculum issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, Can Tho University Elite High School organized a National Defense and Security Education (NDSE) study trip for students in Semester II. The program took place over three days and two nights, from February 7 to February 9, 2026, at the Center for National Defense and Security Education – Can Tho University, located in Hoa An Commune (former Hau Giang Province).

Throughout the study trip, students studied and trained in a highly disciplined environment, engaging in NDSE content in accordance with the prescribed curriculum, including close-order drill, collective activities, military routines, and thematic lessons on national defense and security awareness. Through these activities, the trip helped foster in students a serious demeanor, a strong sense of self-discipline, and orderly daily habits, such as punctuality, sleeping on schedule, and eating meals on time—essential qualities in the development of character and a healthy lifestyle.

In addition to the formal academic program, the Youth Union of Can Tho University Elite High School organized a cultural night entitled “Hoa An by Night,” which attracted the enthusiastic participation of 18 Youth Union branches. The event took place in a lively and engaging atmosphere, showcasing students’ solidarity, creativity, and artistic talents.

Moreover, the Executive Boards of the school’s Sports Clubs coordinated the organization of friendly tournaments in football, badminton, volleyball, and pickleball, creating a healthy environment for students to interact, improve physical fitness, strengthen teamwork, and enhance collective cohesion. These sports activities contributed to a joyful and energetic atmosphere, helping students build positive momentum ahead of the 2026 Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday.

The NDSE study trip at the Center for National Defense and Security Education – Can Tho University was not only an academic activity conducted in line with the curriculum but also a meaningful experience that contributed to the holistic education of students in terms of discipline, responsibility, team spirit, and a healthy lifestyle, leaving lasting positive impressions on both teachers and participating students.
