Information Session on the New Zealand Education System

On the afternoon of October 8, 2025, at Room 102, Preparatory School – Can Tho University, the AUG Study Abroad Consulting Company organized an information session on the New Zealand education system for students of Can Tho University Elite High School. This event was a meaningful and practical activity aimed at broadening students’ access to international educational information while helping them develop clearer orientations for their future academic paths and personal growth in a global learning environment.
Attending the session were Ms. Huynh Thi Thuy Diem, Vice Principal of the school, Mr. Nguyen Van Kham, a teacher, along with more than 20 outstanding students representing various grade levels. On the international side, a delegation of educational experts from New Zealand, including representatives from several educational institutions and secondary schools, shared a wealth of updated and valuable information about the structure of the New Zealand education system, teaching methodologies, scholarship opportunities, and support policies for international students, particularly those from Vietnam.
During the interactive session, students from Can Tho University Elite High School demonstrated a proactive and inquisitive attitude by posing insightful questions related to scholarship eligibility criteria, tuition fees, admission requirements, post-graduation employment prospects, as well as differences in curricula and pedagogical approaches between Vietnam and New Zealand. The New Zealand experts enthusiastically responded to all inquiries and shared practical insights that helped students gain a clearer understanding of academic life and learning experiences in New Zealand.
The session not only provided accurate and up-to-date information about the New Zealand education system but also contributed to enhancing students’ global awareness and career orientation. Through this activity, students were encouraged to broaden their international perspectives and equip themselves with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to thrive in an increasingly globalized educational and professional context.
This event also reflected Can Tho University Elite High School’s strong commitment to fostering international educational cooperation, building meaningful connections between its students and reputable academic institutions worldwide.
