INFORMATION ABOUT THE 2021 JAPANESE EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Information about the program: In June 2017, at the "Future Asia Conference" held in Tokyo, Japan with the participation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe launched the initiative to invite 1000 students. Study Japanese from Asian countries to Japan for 5 years. On the basis of this initiative, the Japanese government started to launch a program to invite high school students from Asian countries called "Kakehashi Project" from 2018. In 2018, 6 Vietnamese students attended and succeeded in the Program, including 3 students directly selected and introduced by the Vietnam Student Club in Japan (VAJA) to the Embassy (Embassy). Japan in Vietnam, 2 students selected by VAJA Club and High School for Foreign Languages under the University of Foreign Languages - VNU Hanoi to introduce to the Embassy of Japan. In 2019 and 2020, the club also recommended and directly recruited / introduced some students to participate in this program.
In 2021, the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam plans to recruit 18 Vietnamese students to Japan to participate in the program, VAJA Club continues to be proposed as the focal point to announce and introduce students, including the club directly selected and recommended to the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam 5 students.
