TOKYO INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY ADMISSION
Living in Japan – Studying in English
The English Track Program (E-Track) of Tokyo International University (TIU) for international students has 3 majors:
-Business Economics.
-International Relations.
-Digital Business and Innovation.
Tokyo International University has 2 intakes a year, including:
* Spring semester (admission in April, for students who have graduated from high school or are studying at university). The Spring semester of 2023 has 3 application periods:
- Phase 1: June 22, 2022 - July 6, 2022 (ended, results will be available on August 1, 2022)
- Phase 2: September 7, 2022 - September 28, 2022 (results will be available on October 31, 2022)
- Phase 3: October 26, 2022 - November 16, 2022 (results will be available on December 19, 2022)
* Fall semester (admission in September, for students who are in grade 12, or have graduated from
high school, or are studying at university). The Fall semester of 2023 has 4 applications:
- Phase 1: October 26, 2022 - November 16, 2022 (results will be available on December 19, 2022)
- Phase 2: January 4, 2023 - January 25, 2023 (results will be available on February 27, 2023)
- Phase 3: February 8, 2023 - March 1, 2023 (results will be available on April 10, 2023)
- Phase 4: March 22, 2023 - April 12, 2023 (results will be available on May 22, 2023)
Scholarships are awarded without an entrance exam or interview, but are considered based on 5 criteria:
-Grade 10 and 11 transcripts; Grade 12 transcript (first semester)
-02 Essays (Topics are included in the Application Guidelines).
-International English Certificates (minimum IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 61)
-01 Letter of recommendation from a teacher.
-03 Certificates of extracurricular activities, social activities, certificates of merit at provincial and national levels,...
The application form consists of two parts: Online Application submission (Refer to pages 9-13 of the Application Guidelines) and Paper Application submission (need to be sent directly to TIU Office in Hanoi, details on pages 14-16 of the Application Guidelines). Students can submit the Paper Application before submitting the Online Application, however both types of application must be completed by the deadline of the process.
Note: All documents to be submitted in Vietnamese must be translated and notarized into English.
