Tết, also known as Tết Nguyên Đán (the Lunar New Year), is the most important and largest traditional festival of the Vietnamese people. It marks the first day of the new year according to the lunar calendar and is a time for people to set aside daily worries, reunite with family, pay tribute to their ancestors, and welcome a peaceful and prosperous new year filled with hope.

In that joyful atmosphere, the A2K13 collective brought the spirit of Tết to the schoolyard through a special Tết-themed flag-raising ceremony 🎊✨ From the lucky red decorations and the vibrant peach and apricot blossoms to smiles brighter than spring flowers 🌼🌺, everything came together to create a morning that was both warm and full of energy.

Contributing to this festive mood, the program opened with a dance performance set to the song “Cô Ba Sài Gòn”, featuring lively, catchy melodies and a youthful, modern style blended with traditional elements. The upbeat music and cheerful rhythm created a vibrant, refreshing atmosphere, energizing the stage from the very first moments and setting the tone for a dynamic program 🌟🎶

Following the exciting opening, the song “Tết Đong Đầy” resonated with its joyful and lively melody, vividly recreating the traditional Tết atmosphere of the Vietnamese people. The song paints a warm picture of the year-end days, when happiness is “filled to the brim” through family meals, New Year wishes, reunion smiles, and beautiful hopes for a peaceful and happy new year.

Continuing that emotional flow was the song “Đi Về Nhà”—a gentle, heartfelt yet deeply moving piece. The song conveys a simple but sacred message: no matter where we go or what we do, home is always the place to return to. During Tết, “Đi Về Nhà” becomes even more meaningful as it reminds everyone to cherish moments of reunion and togetherness with family after a year full of challenges.

Bringing the program to a close was a dance performance to “Tết Này Con Sẽ Về”, a song with a warm and emotional melody. It tells the story of homesickness felt by those living far from home and the simple happiness of returning to reunite with family during Tết, leaving a lingering and touching impression on the audience.
