“A Day as a THSPer” Program 2026

On the afternoon of April 25, 2025, Can Tho University Elite High School had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation of teachers and students from Luong The Vinh Secondary School for a campus visit, experiential activities, and an introduction to the school’s learning environment as part of the “A Day as a THSPer” Program 2026.

This annual initiative is designed for lower secondary students in Can Tho City and the Mekong Delta region, aiming to provide them with opportunities to directly engage with a high-quality, modern, and experience-oriented upper secondary educational environment.

During the program, participating students were able to take part in simulated classroom sessions across various subjects, including Mathematics and Literature. These sessions offered insights into innovative teaching methodologies that foster critical thinking and the development of individual competencies. In addition, a series of STEM-based experiential activities in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology provided students with engaging learning experiences that effectively integrated theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice, thereby facilitating a more intuitive and stimulating exploration of science.

Beyond touring the school’s well-equipped and modern facilities, the program also created opportunities for students to interact with both teachers and current students. This engagement enabled them to gain a deeper understanding of the dynamic, creative, and inspiring learning environment at Can Tho University Elite High School.

Notably, for the 2026–2027 academic year, Can Tho University Elite High School plans to enroll six Grade 10 classes with a total of 216 students (36 students per class). As students of the school, they will not only study in a pedagogically rigorous environment but also benefit from access to the advanced facilities of Can Tho University.

Each classroom is fully equipped with modern amenities, including a 60-inch television and two air-conditioning units, ensuring a comfortable and effective learning environment. In particular, the school’s STEM laboratory has been systematically and extensively invested in by Can Tho University, making it one of the pioneering STEM facilities among high schools in Can Tho City. This infrastructure plays a significant role in fostering students’ creativity and scientific research capabilities.

“A Day as a THSPer” is not merely a campus visit but a comprehensive experiential journey that supports students in orientation and inspires their learning motivation at a critical stage - the transition to upper secondary education.
