THSP STUDENTS TAKE TO THE FUTSAL COURTS OF TAIWAN
An International Junior Futsal Exchange Journey at Wufeng University, Taiwan – 2026
In late July and early August, an unforgettable journey took place as teachers and students from the futsal team representing the school system of Can Tho University traveled to Taiwan to participate in the 2026 International Junior Futsal Cup, hosted by Wufeng University. More than just a sporting competition, the trip provided students with a valuable opportunity to gain experience, broaden their horizons, and connect with international friends in the spirit of fair play and friendship.

A Warm Welcome and a Spirit of Friendship
After settling into their accommodation, the delegation was invited by the organizers to a friendly welcome dinner. It was an opportunity for the participants to get acquainted, discuss the schedule, and exchange meaningful souvenirs reflecting Taiwan’s distinctive cultural identity.
The warm and open atmosphere created by the host university’s faculty members and staff quickly helped the young players overcome their initial unfamiliarity and feel at home in a new country.

The delegation also visited the Sport Story Museum, which preserves many important historical milestones of Taiwanese sports. The visit provided the students with further inspiration and a deeper appreciation for the values and spirit of sports.
